Wimbledon fortnight is upon us and British hopes rest with Andy Murray. The 24 year old Scot appears to be the best condition of his career and will be hoping to become the first Brit to win the championship since Fred Perry in 1936.
Still buzzing from his win at Queens, Murray will start his campaign later on Monday when he plays Daniel Gimeno-Traver. The unseeded Spaniard shouldn’t create too much of a challenge to Murray who is seeded 4th.
Every year the players are plagued by the weather. The roof has already been in use on the first day of the championship. Rain or shine though, you can be sure that the fans will still come out in force to cheer on their favourites.
Let’s get behind our man and show him that we are proud of him.
Good Luck Andy!!
