Most Haunted set to reclaim Halloween

After over a year away from our screens and the announcement in August that Living TV would not be commissioning a new series most fans of “Most Haunted” believed that it was over. I have however got some exciting news that the show is in the process of making a comeback. Karl Beattie and Antix Productions have officially re-gained the rights to “Most Haunted” and have a DVD coming out in time for Christmas.

Speaking on his facebook profile, Karl has announced that “Most Haunted” is due to be picked up by another TV channel and looks set to return next year! I hope this will also see Yvette Fielding take the helm again despite her announcing in June 2010 that she would be stepping down as presenter.

“Hi Guys…..we are currently putting together a DVD for Christmas for you. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to get a programme sorted for Halloween, getting all the rights back took much longer than first thought. But we are back now, next year we will be looking to go bigger and better than ever before and we will take Halloween back. We are about to sign a very exciting deal with a very large company to take Most Haunted to the next level. So watch this space. And thanks for all of your support and undying loyalty, which in this industry is a very rare thing indeed, thank you all it means so much.” – Karl Beattie
